'The Verdant Yank' - My latest blogging & vlogging adventure!
Thanks for checking out my blog! I started my blogging adventures back in 2014 with 'Cara's Climate Friday FAQs' in an effort to get up to speed on Ireland's climate complexities in the run up to the Paris Climate Summit in Dec. 2015. Having sufficiently explored the topic through 20 frequently asked questions (below), I thought it was time to expand beyond climate change and am now blogging and vlogging (video blogging) under 'The Verdant Yank'.

'Climate Friday FAQs' is still a great resource for those of you interested in Ireland's climate change issues, but check out the fun in The Verdant Yank if you want an outlander's (sometimes outlandish) take on all of our environment issues!

Introducing Climate Friday FAQs
It’s great to see that most of us have moved beyond the question of whether or not climate change is happening, but questions around how and why to resolve it still aren’t fully understood. So, every Friday leading up to the historic United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris this December, I’ll tackle a climate-related frequently asked question (FAQ) on this site. From the science, impacts, solutions, and activism, I’ll put my “sceptical scientist” hat on and aim to cover the basic arguments succinctly to help you, the reader, fully appreciate the significance of climate change and the solutions, with an emphasis on how these issues relate to us here in Ireland.
Please feel free to contact me through e-mail, Twitter, or Facebook with any questions you’d like to see addressed, and I’ll endeavour to include them in one of my weekly posts.
Check out any of my Climate FAQs to date in the links below.
Thanks for reading and keep fighting the good fight!
